Cute little pine picnic table to feed your wildlife. The Squirrel Table™ by Carved By Heart fits nicely in your yard or garden. Mount it to your fence or post. Hang it from a tree or place it between branches. The two photos that you see with a live squirrel and a red container were sent in by one of our customers. (The red container does not come with your order.) We have tables made from recycled fence posts and pallets. We also have tables made from fence posts we have had to purchase.
Get one or two to give for Mother's or Father's Day!
Handcrafted from recycled/reclaimed pallets and fence boards. This is recycled wood that we use and this is why we can make these tables at such a low price. Some of it might appear "green" in spots (see the sixth photo here). That is not mold, it is what pressure-treated wood looks like. The green will fade as the sun's ultraviolet rays react to it.*
Comes with a screw in the middle (hole drilled) to place an ear of corn for the wildlife. Two drilled holes on the top are added so that you can screw the table onto the fence or onto a post. (These two screws do not come with your order.) Place food on the table and feed your special wildlife. The Squirrel Table™ stands about 4" tall and is about 8" wide (from bench to bench) and 9" long.
We ship 2-Day Priority Mail. We used to be able to ship these in 3 to 5 business days, but since they are super popular we have changed our ship times to up to 2 weeks. We might be able to send your table out sooner than that, but keep in mind we are two people---yes, just two of us---working and crafting. We have had an abundance of orders!
A WORD ABOUT PRESSURE-TREATED WOOD
*"The green color you see on treated wood is caused by chemical reactions that take place between the preservative components and the wood. Copper is still the most widely used element in wood preservatives and creates a green color on the wood. As wood dries and reacts to sun’s ultraviolet rays, the green color will fade." ~ From VianceTreatedWood.com If you would like to stain your squirrel table with an outdoor stain, you can do that. Or leave it as is---it is ready to be used when you receive it. ***No two squirrel tables are exactly alike due to the grain and cut of wood.***
